I recently bought a Belkin N1 Wireless Router to replace the D-Link Wireless ADSL Modem Router which had died after 2 years of loyal service. I thought I’d now sum up my thought in a review on the Belkin N1 Wireless Router after a couple months of use...

The N1 retains the basic form factor of previous Belkin routers, but this one has had a black glossy makeover and looks quite stylish. Its a draft-N four-port Wi-Fi router based on the XPAN chipset by Atheros. It features the usual wireless securi...
Very easy to set up with impressive nearby performance, but a disappointing let-down for distant connections. Customers receive excellent support and a great warranty, but it’s expensive. Roger Gann Lowest online price: ££109.24...

A sensible choice for anyone needing better range and speed than cheaper super-G routers can provide Belkin was the first to launch an 802.11n-based router - before the draft specification was even agreed - known as Pre-N. The N1 is the companys new...

unless Belkin issues a public apology to the computer world for the fiasco with this software, the only way I can recommend that anyone buys these products, is if they really like to look at pretty objects, or if they are lonely and just want to talk...

Were still waiting for a product that totally delivers on the promises of the 802.11n specification, but Belkins N1 at least comes closer than most. Whats more, its an exceptionally easy router to both install and maintain.

The next Wi-Fi standard, 802.11n, has been mired in the standards-setting process since 2004. This standard promises theoretical speeds as high as 540Mbit/sec., which is 50 times faster than 802.11b and as much as 10 times faster than 802.11a and 802...

The Belkin N1 Wireless Router F5D8231-4 is Belkins first contribution to the 802.11 draft-n market. Belkin has made some dramatic improvements in the usability department, but like all the draft-n routers Ive seen, its performance just isnt up to...
